Bartek Arobal Kociemba (1984) is a polish visual artist and teacher of meditation in the tradition of Shambhala Buddhism. Since 2005 he has been recognized as a leading polish illustrators engaging in various collaborations with editors, magazines, theatre, and various other institutions, parallel to which he pursued his independent career as a visual artist. In his works he uses paper, crayons, pencil and paint and other mediums to create portraits of humans and plants, moody landscapes and visual stories about human connection to oneself, other beings and nature. Over the last years his initial illustrating and portraiture background has expanded into working with animation, spatial installation and sculpture.
