Krzysztof Nowicki
Krzysztof Nowicki (b. 1988) - In 2013, he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk with a degree in Painting under the supervision of Professor Teresa Miszkin. He is the recipient of the Grand Prix in the „Artystyczna Podróż Hestii 2013" competition (scholarship in New York), the Grand Prix at the 3rd Pomeranian Art Triennale at the State Gallery of Art in Sopot, and an honorary distinction in the F. Eibisch Foundation Competition. In 2021, he was nominated for the Strabag Kunstforum Artaward and received a Special Award in the Young Art Compass competition. He was also nominated for the 12th Geppert Competition (BWA Wrocław) and the UAP Artistic Award „Nowy Obraz/Nowe Spojrzenie”. In 2014, he participated in an artist residency at the Hong Kong Arts Centre. His works are included in collections such as the National Museum in Gdańsk, Imago Mundi Luciano Benetton, the Artists' Colony Foundation, and numerous private collections in Poland and abroad.
Currently, he is a doctoral candidate at the Doctoral School of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. He lives and works in Gdańsk.
