On the exhibition display there are the most recent works of  Antoni Starowieyski, from 2011 until today.

The artist has painted for 20 years, focusing his work very consistently on several motifs and using a time-consuming technique of oil painting. From the very beginning of his artistic career, colour and landscape defined his language and understanding of painting really strongly. The process of creating his works is slow, with successive layers of paint requiring time to dry out, which makes the image emerge in parallel with the thoughts and sensations, like the trail of the changing time. This long creative process associated with the painting medium fully corresponds to the contemplative nature of Antoni Starowieyski’s art.
